　　能被同位语从句修饰的名词多表示概括性意义，如：agreement，awareness，assumption(假定)，belief，conclusion，conviction(确信)，concept，doubt(证据), decision,determination, evidence(证据)，explanation，fact，guarantee(保证)，ground, guess, hope, idea, message, mind,news, notion(观念), opinion, order, observation(观察), objection(反对), promise,prediction, proof, problem, proposal(建议), question, sign(迹象), suggestion, thought等。
