　　v.分发，分配;分布，(over)散布

　　【例1】The demonstrators distributed leaflets to the passers-by.示威者向行人分发传单。

　　【例2】The farmers were distributing seeds over the field.农民们正在田间播种。

　　【构词】dis-(分开)+tribute(赠予)→分开赠予→分配

　　【同义替换】dispense; allot; scatter, spread

　　【派生】distribution n.分发;分配;分布
