To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to express myopinion about the current policy on the Golden Weekholiday.
致相关人士：我写此信的目的是想表达对目前“黄金周”政策的看法。
Truly, the past decade has witnessed manyadvantages of the Golden Week holiday, but weshould never ignore its disadvantages.
诚然，过去十年“黄金周”带来了诸多好处，然而我们决不可忽略其带来的弊端。
On the one hand, it may lead to heavy traffic in that a large number of tourists go on travelingduring the same period.
一方面，因为大批游客同一时段外出旅游，使得交通严重拥堵。
On the other hand, some tourists, with no awareness of environmental protection,
另一方面，有些游客缺乏环保意识，
often litter at random so that the scenic spots are polluted and thus it demands a tremendoussum of money to eliminate the pollution.
经常乱丢垃圾，污染了旅游景点，而治理这些污染需要耗费大笔金钱。
Considering the current grim situation,it is necessary that the authorities concerned shouldtake immediate measures to eliminate these disadvantages.
鉴于目前形势严峻，有关部门有必要立刻采取措施来消除这些弊端。
