　　A child in Beijing got the highest score—90/100, in atest of their financial intelligence that showed anunderstanding of financial management amongprimary school students in Beijing, Shanghai andWenzhou, known for vibrant business activity ineast China's Zhejiang province.

　　一名北京小学生在一项金融智商测试中获得了最高分90分(满分为100分)。这项测试用于测试小孩子对理财的了解，参与者包括来自北京、上海和商业活动最为活跃的中国东部浙江省温州的小学生。

　　The students from the three cities scored 74 percenton average in the FQ test, surpassing the organizer's assumptions about what childrenunderstand about money management, said Xu Ting, head of the FQ Lab at Ant Fortune, themobile financing platform of Alibaba Group Holding.

　　徐婷，阿里巴巴旗下移动端平台--蚂蚁金融理财实验室主任说道，三个城市的学生取得了平均74分的成绩，他们对于理财的了解，远远超出了我们测试组织者的预想。

　　The FQ, or Financial Quotient, test was divided in two sections: an online survey and an offlineexperiment among pupils. It was designed to measure the pupils' ability to handle money,their understanding of spending and saving, and their knowledge of family finances andinvestment.

　　FQ(金融智商)分为在线测试和线下实验两个部分。它用来测试小学生管理金钱的能力，他们花费和储蓄钱的情况以及他们对家庭经济和投资的了解。

　　During the offline experiment children were required to spend one hour in a toy market aftergiving them 200 yuan in cash. "We thought the children would spend all the money on buyingtoys" said a researcher.

　　在线下测试中，孩子们被分配200元到玩具市场逛1个小时，“我本想着孩子们会把钱都用来买玩具”一名调查者说。

　　In general the children had strong self-control in spending. Test takers in Beijing had 140 yuanleft on average, and no one had less than 10 yuan at the end of the test.

　　孩子们普遍有很好的钱财管控能力。在所有测试者中，北京孩子平均每人能留下140元，测试结束时每个孩子余额都超过了10元。

　　72% of children in the three cities chose to save money and have 128 yuan left on average.Only 7% of children had less than 10 yuan which indicates a "paycheck to paycheck" lifestyle.

　　在所有的三个城市孩子中，72%的孩子都有省钱意识，平均每人剩余128元。只有7%的孩子手里剩余不足10元，这也表明他们过得是“月光族”的生活方式。

　　Asked about managing a New Year's money gift, 61 percent of the students said they woulddeposit the money in the bank while 31 percent said they would give it to their parents forinvestment. One student said he would lend the money to relatives to buy property - andcharge interest.

　　当问及如何管理自己的压岁钱时，61%的学生说他们会把钱存到银行，31%的学生说他们会把钱给父母去投资。其中一个学生说，他会把钱借给亲戚去买房地产并收取利息。
