　　iPhone销量好于预期，苹果股价暴涨!

　　Apple has revealed it has now sold over 1.2 billion iPhones worldwide, and 41.03m in the last quarter, despite fears users would hold off and wait for the firm’s eagerly awaited iPhone 8.

　　尽管担心用户会持观望态度、等待备受期待的iPhone 8上市，但是苹果公司最近透露称，该公司已经在全球售出了12亿台iPhone，上个季度售出了4103万台。

　　It came as the firm reported a 7.2 percent rise in quarterly revenue on Tuesday, buoyed by the better-than-expected sales of its iPhones ahead of the smartphone’s 10th-anniversary edition launch later this year.

　　本周二苹果还表示该公司季度营收增长了7.2%，原因是iPhone的销售情况好于预期。苹果公司还将在今年底发售iPhone10周年纪念手机。

　　The results also reveals Apple’s cash pile has hit a record $261.5 billion, an increase of 14% in a year.

　　这一结果还显示苹果公司的现金收入达到了创纪录的2615亿美元，同比去年增长14个百分点。

　　The firm also admitted it was still struggling to keep up with demand for its AirPod wireless headphones, which have been a huge hit with customers.

　　苹果也承认，该公司在满足对AirPod无线耳机的需求方面压力很大，而这对用户们来说是一个巨大的打击。

　　The figures boosted shares of the world’s most valuable technology company, and it was up 3.1 percent at a record $154.64 in extended trading.

　　苹果公司公布的这些数据使得这一全球最有价值科技公司的股价大幅增长，上涨了3.1%达到了每股154.64美元。

　　The company said iPhone sales rose 1.6 percent to 41.03 million in the third quarter ended July 1, above analysts’ average estimate of 40.7 million units, according to financial data and analytics firm FactSet StreetAccount.

　　财务数据和分析公司FactSet StreetAccount指出，在截止7月1日的第三季度，iPhone的销量增长了1.6%，达到了4103万台，高于分析人士预计的4070万台。

　　Purchases of the current iPhone 7 held steady, while sales of the Mac and iPad saw an unexpected revival.

　　目前iPhone 7的销量保持稳定，但是出人意料的是Mac和iPad的销售却出现了复苏。

　　Apple sold 40.4 million iPhones a year earlier.

　　去年苹果公司共计卖出了4040万台iPhone手机。

　　’iPhone sales were impressive,’ said Tim Cook.

　　库克表示：“iPhone的销售情况很喜人。”

　　’One decade after the initial iPhone launch, we have now surpassed 1.2 billion iPhone sold’

　　“在iPhone问世10年之后，我们已经在全球卖出了超过12亿台手机。”

　　Many customers wait for Apple to launch its new smartphones before deciding on upgrading or replacing their current devices, which usually results in iPhone demand tapering in the months before a release.

　　许多用户都会等待苹果公司发布新机，然后再决定是更新还是换掉自己目前使用的手机，而这往往会导致新机发售前几个月iPone销售量走低。
