2018年考研英美文学真题（回忆版）

　　今年的英美文学题型变了，直接去掉了以前20分的段落匹配文章标题作者。花了很大的精力来记这个的，结果不考了。文学常识多加了10个空，变成了20分了，而且明显难度加大，涉及到的知识面多了许多。不止于选读相关的。

　　⑴ 文学常识

　　没花太多时间，有很多不会的，在这里只写记得的。

　　①关于the device of stream of consciousness叫做什么，我写的interal monologue，不会这个。

　　②考的gothic novel. 是散文小说的一种，还有emily bronte的呼啸山庄……不会写这个

　　③唯美主义;口号:为艺术而艺术

　　④考了一个俄国的古英语epic，猜的是神曲……不知道，反正不是beowulf

　　⑥地方小说，哈代小说设定的地点和福克纳小说设定的地点

　　⑦侦探小说;埃德加爱伦坡

　　⑧自传;本杰明富兰克林

　　⑨黑色幽默;joseph heller

　　还有些不会的记不得了

　　⑵ 简答题

　　今年的简答题不是很难，但是出现了两部选读里面没有的作品，今年不是没有参考书目吗，所以感觉南大是在慢慢过渡着变换题型，以后考试大概会更难了。

　　① the damatic function of ghost in Shakespeare\'s Hemlet.

　　②chose one of the work of kazuo Ishioguro to analyze his narrative strategy.

　　③interpret the title of one of the following works: Who\'s Afraid of Virginia Woolf ?;the iceman cometh; A streetcar named desire

　　⑶诗歌分析

　　是Philip Larkin的 The Importance of Elsewhere

　　Lonely in Ireland, since it was not home,

　　Strangeness made sense. The salt rebuff of speech,

　　Insisting so on difference, made me welcome:

　　Once that was recognised, we were in touch.

　　Their draughty streets, end-on to hills, the faint

　　Archaic smell of dockland, like a stable,

　　The herring-hawker\'s cry, dwindling, went

　　To prove me separate, not unworkable.

　　Living in England has no such excuse:

　　These are my customs and establishments

　　It would be much more serious to refuse.

　　Here no elsewhere underwrites my existence.

　　问题是 write a small essay about the theme of the poem in relation to its style.

　　⑷作文

　　关于T. S. Eliot对于的一篇题为\" Tradition and individual talent\". 给出了他的一个选段，大概的意思是，people always parise the parts of a literature in which least resembles the poet ancestor. 人们赞美一首诗歌中不同于前人的部分，努力去寻找那些属于诗人individual的部分。然而如果能摒弃掉这样的偏见，就可能发现，在一个诗人的作品中，not only the beat part but also the most individual part may be those in which, their ancestor, assert their morality most vigorously.就是一个诗人作品最好最个人的部分,就是那些让他的先辈所不朽的东西。

　　你同意他的观点吗?what is your opinion, write an essay more than 400 words to respond this excerpt, and illustrate your idea with examples of British and American literature history.

　　自我理解这个段落的意思就是这个文章标题的意思，讲的是诗歌中传统的与个人的elements的关系。Eliot认为一个好的作品是可以包含传统的。大概这样吧。
