　　今年考研英语一大作文考查主题是品质类话题，这个品质是“坚持”。这类话题极具具现实意义。这类主题是考研写作的大类，考查次数最多，难度也较大。此前考试的真题借鉴意义很大，认真准备的同学会发现，以前写过的文章中用过的一些写法，可以完美地运用到这篇文章的主体段。

　　安排第一段落时，要以描述图画为核心，多描述少评论，避免使用模板。二段写作，结合“坚持”或“毅力”，甚至“友谊”，都是很好的切入点，有利于快速破题。第三段总结这种品质的意义即可。

　　The enlightening cartoon depicts the significance of perseverance. As is shown, a boy is resting at the half way of a road which leads to the top of a mountain, exhausted and frustrated. “I am too tired to go on the journey”, claims the disheartened one. Handing a bottle of water to his travelling companion, the other optimistic boy encourages the boy, saying, “have a rest, then go on climbing”.

　　As an old saying goes, “nothing is impossible for a willing heart”. Yet we also know, “it is easier said than done”. Harsh reality ---- peer pressure, uncertainty of economy, fewer opportunities ---- triggers anxiety and stress, leading to the cowardly ones to quit. We all know that difficulties, challenges and setbacks are unavoidable in the competitive society. Exposed to this situation, those perseverant ones are more willing to keep doing their upmost and to march toward their destination, which enables them to get closer to success.

　　Life is a long journey, and it is not always a bed of rose, it is full of thorns and hardship. When faced with the twists and turns of the life, we must not waver in our resolve.

　　2019年小作文考查内容是一封询问信的回信，这类信件以往并未直接考察过，乍一看似乎不好写，但细看的话，会发现其内容是向一个留学生志愿者介绍公益项目(Aiding Rural Primary School’s Project)的细节。

　　这个话题可以看成是对2006年小作文(Project Hope)内容的改写。故此，本年度的英语一小作文难度与往年持平，复习得当，写作起来会顺畅。

　　写作时第一段可以有自我介绍，而且一定要明确写作目的，并同时引出二段主体段的内容。二段写作需要一定的基础能力和应变能力，能够在高度紧张状态下，找到相应的点，并用正确的语言表达出来。三段写作，使用建议信结尾即可。

　　To begin with, in order to promote education of rural area and support the children in remote areas, 20 volunteers from this project are arranged to go to primary schools of Gui Zhou and Yun Nan each year.
