　　2019年考研【英语一】作文部分解析

　　今年英语一小作文略和每年不同，每年都是比较明确的信件，如：推荐信，邀请信，通知等，而今年有一些反常，让大家写一封信来回答一个关于国际学生的怎样成为农村小学支教志愿者的一些询问。从信件种类来看，属于“回复信”。从语域角度来看，属于“正式回复/答涵”。但从具体内容来看，属于 “申请信”的变体，在回复后，正文提出对成为志愿者的要求，在某种程度上，关键内容更像一则“通知”，正文提出成为志愿者的具体要求。 今年打破了以往书信的固定格式，更加灵活，更加生活化，出题方式去模板化，更加注重话题语言的表达。

　　今年的大作文比较简单，考的是人的精神品质，根据图片的场景，我们很容易得到图片背后的内涵意义，即：“坚持” 或在追求人生目标和梦想的过程中，一种 “不放弃”的精神。这一话题曾在2004的图片的表达方式基本一致，同样也就是“坚持”精神，也和我们在冲点班所给的图片很相似，同学们可以将主题词换成 insistence 或 persistence即可。

　　The picture clearly depicts a common scene in our daily life where a youngster, a climber sitting on the middle way to the mountain top, decides to abandon his original goal of reaching the top, feeling fatigue while his peer encourages him to continue. Evidently, what the author in the picture really aims at conveying is that persistence is an excellent quality in the process of pursuing life goal.

　　To further illustrate the connotation and significance of persistence, I would like to take a scientist specializing in agriculture as a case in point. Yuan Longping, experiencing countless failures in the process of studying a new planting technique of cereal, nevertheless never formed a notion of giving up hallway so that he finally invent hybrid rice technique and greatly increase the productivity of rice. It was because of his persistence that he successfully solved the hungry problem for the world people and became a colorful and legendary figure. However, this isn’t always the fact in modern society. Some youngsters have lost the spirit of bearing bitterness when facing frustration, which might make them achieve nothing in the future career.

　　What I want to emphasize by the above example and analysis is that insistence is of great significance for everyone. Thus, we should forgot our past glory and accomplishment to pursue a new goal after another without giving up. Only in this way can we achieve our life value.
