何平，男，1971年7月4日出生，四川盐亭县人，中共党员。1989.9~1993.6（四川理工学院，本科）；1993.6~1999.7（四川理工学院工作）；1999.9~2002.6（西北大学，硕士研究生）；2002.9~2005.6（中国科学院长春应用化学研究所，博士研究生），2006年从讲师破格晋升为教授。现为西南科技大学材料科学与工程学院教师，硕士生导师，中国化学会会员，国际电化学会会员。

为本科生和研究生担任过《分析化学》、《仪器分析》、《应用电化学》、《材料现代分析测试方法》、《电分析化学》、《化学文献及查阅方法》等课程的教学和实验工作。科研方面，主要从事材料电化学、环境电化学、纳米材料、分析化学等方面的工作。已在《Langmuir》、《Journal of The Electrochemical Society》、《Electrochemistry Communications》、《ECS Transactions》、《Analytical Biochemistry》、《Analytical Letters》、《Electrochemical and Solid State Letters》、《Electrochimica Acta》等国内外学术期刊公开发表论文60余篇，其中SCI、EI收录50余篇。

申请专利1项。教材编写2部（副主编）。
