　　 2021考研英语长难句分析(2)

　　考研备考快要经历从基础阶段到暑期阶段的过渡。英语方面对于基础知识的掌握还是要通过破解长难句来进行夯实，毕竟涉及到考研英语文章的理解。从试题出发来进行练习则是非常有效的方法。接下来就2017年考研英语一完型试题为例来分析几个长难句供参考学习。

　　1. Some image that the coming work-free world will be defined by inequality: A few wealthy people will own all the capital, and the masses will struggle in an impoverished wasteland.

　　词汇：mass n. 大众，群众;struggle v. 挣扎;impoverished adj. 贫困的; wasteland n.废墟

　　句型结构：

　　A. 主干：Some(主语) image(谓语)

　　翻译：有些人猜测。

　　B. 修饰成分：

　　①that the coming work-free world (从句主语)will be defined by (从句谓语)inequality(从句宾语)，此句是由that引导的宾语从句;

　　翻译：那个即将到来、没有工作的未来将会是被定义为不平等。

　　②A few wealthy people(主语) will own(谓语) all the capital(宾语), and the masses(主语) will struggle in(谓语) an impoverished wasteland(宾语)，此句是作为inequality的同位语，由and 连接的两个的并列句。

　　翻译：少数富人拥有所有资本，而大众却在贫瘠的废墟中挣扎。

　　C. 组合整句：那个即将到来、没有工作的未来将会是被定义为不平等：少数富人拥有所有资本，而大众却在贫瘠的废墟中挣扎。

　　2. One Gallup poll found that 20 percent of Americans who have been unemployed for at least a year report having depression, double the rate for working Americans.

　　词汇：Gallup poll盖洛普民意测验; depression n. 抑郁症

　　句型结构：

　　A. 主干：One Gallup poll(主语) found(宾语)

　　翻译：在一份盖洛普民意测验中发现

　　B. 修饰成分:

　　3. ①that 20 percent of Americans (从句主语)report(谓语) having depression(V-ing 短语作宾语)，总体是以that引导的宾语从句;

　　翻译：20%的美国人报告患有抑郁症

　　②who(从句主语) have been unemployed(从句谓语) for at least a year(时间状语)，总体是who引导的定语从句，修饰20 percent of Americans;

　　翻译：至少失业一年

　　③...double(谓语) the rate (宾语)for working Americans(宾补)

　　翻译：是美国工薪阶层比率的两倍，主语则是前面宾语从句部分。

　　C. 组成整句：20%至少失业一年的美国人报告患有抑郁症，这个比率是未失业美国人的两倍。

　　4. Some research suggests that the explanation for rising rates of mortality, mental-health problems, and addicting among poorly-educated middle-aged people is shortage of well-paid jobs.

　　词汇：mortality n. 死亡; addict v. 使上瘾

　　短语: be shortage of 缺乏

　　句型结构：

　　A. 主干：Some research(主语) suggests(宾语)

　　翻译：一些研究表明

　　B. 修饰成分:

　　that the explanation for rising rates of mortality, mental-health problems, and addicting among poorly-educated middle-aged people(从句主语) is shortage of(从句谓语) well-paid jobs(从句宾语)，总体是以that引导的宾语从句，其中从句主语是三个短语(the explanation，mental-health problems，addicting)的并列，among poorly-educated middle-aged people介词短语作定语修饰前面的三个并列短语，for rising rates of mortality介词短语作定语修饰the explanation;

　　翻译：在没有受到良好教育的中年人中间，死亡率的升高、心理健康问题以及毒瘾的出现是因为没有工资待遇较好的工作。

　　C. 组成整句：一些研究表明，在没有受到良好教育的中年人中间，死亡率的升高、心理健康问题以及毒瘾的出现是因为没有工资待遇较好的工作。
