　　考生首先要转变之前背单词的不求甚解的想法，不能只知其一未知其二，否则词汇量的确大，但是强化时处于懵圈状态。比如，大家做阅读理解的时候，很多词不再是我们熟悉的常用义(game 游戏)，那么考生依然运用此层含义解题，可能就会陷入尴尬境地。熟词僻义是考查考生词形和基本义都熟悉的词的一些不熟悉的意义(game 猎物)。

　　常用词汇及固定搭配如下：

　　be capable of能够coincide with 符合，与……一致by accident 意外

　　cope with 处理have access to 可以使用……in the process of在……过程中

　　be susceptible to 对……敏感，易受……影响excel in/at 擅长

　　concentrate on 全神贯注于be concerned about 关心，挂念

　　be ignorant of 不知道，不了解be inclined to 倾向于

　　according to 根据，按照on purpose故意地in one’s prime在某人鼎盛期

　　prior to 先于……give priority to优先考虑deprive of剥夺

　　prove to be证明为beyond dispute无可争议
